½ kg Tomatoes
2 big onions
1 clove, ½ inch cinnamon, 4-5 black peppercorns
2 Tb spoon Corn flour
1 cup Milk
1 Tb. Spoon Butter
Salt, sugar to taste
1.Cook chopped tomatoes, onions and ginger with 2 cups of water in pressure cooker.
2.Cool to room temperature and blend in a blender to a smooth puree. Strain.
3.Melt the butter in pan; fry corn flour till it turns pink. Slowly add milk stirring occasionally and prepare a ‘white sauce’.
4.Grind cloves, cinnamon and black peppers in fine powder.
5.Mix tomato/onion puree and white sauce and bring to boil.
6.Add sugar, salt and spice powder.
7. Garnish with cream n coriander and serve hot with fried/toasted bread croutons.
